Impact reporting and dashboards

Proof your funders can open, instead of a folder of screenshots.

Funders increasingly decide on evidence, and the organisation that measures properly reads stronger than the one doing twice the work with nothing to show. This is the part almost nobody builds until the week a report is due.

Who it is for

Any organisation that reports to a funder, a board, or a regulator.

Ask about this

Sound familiar?

  • The numbers get assembled by hand at the end of a grant, from screenshots, spreadsheets and memory.
  • Nobody can say which appeal or channel actually brought the donations in.
  • Different people quote different figures for the same programme.
  • Reporting rules are tightening, and your data was not built to answer them.

What you get

What is actually included

Measurement set up properly

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and tracking configured so the numbers mean something and survive scrutiny.

Tracking on what matters

Donations, sign-ups, service enquiries, downloads and referrals, defined with you rather than guessed.

A live dashboard

One link, always current, that your team and your funders can open at any time.

Reports that build themselves

Monthly and quarterly summaries assembled from live data, ready for a board pack or a grant report.

Attribution

Which appeal, campaign or channel produced the result, so next year's budget is a decision rather than a guess.

A data trail

Every figure traceable to the system that recorded it, which is what survives a funder's questions.

How it works

01

Agree what counts

We define the handful of numbers that genuinely represent your work. This is the important conversation.

02

Instrument

Tracking, analytics and data collection wired into your site and systems.

03

Build the view

The dashboard and the recurring reports, in language a trustee understands.

04

Keep it honest

Ongoing checks so the numbers stay accurate as your programmes change.

Questions people ask

Will this satisfy our funder?

It gives you accurate, traceable numbers and a clear way to present them. What each funder asks for differs, so I build to your actual reporting requirements rather than a template.

We are in the United Kingdom. Does this cover SORP 2026?

SORP 2026, the reporting standard charities follow, applies to periods starting on or after 1 January 2026 and requires charities above £500,000 income to explain their impact and the measures they use. I build the measurement side. Your accountant handles the filing.

Is this only about website numbers?

No. Website data is the easiest to capture, but the dashboard can pull in programme data, donation platforms and offline figures your team enters.

A few lines is plenty. I will come back with what I would do first, in writing, at no charge. If I do not think I can help, I will say so.
